The Briggs & Stratton PowerProtect DX 13/11.5kW home standby generator delivers 13kW on propane and 11.5kW on natural gas, with a 10-year comprehensive warranty for long-term peace of mind.
Designed for strong performance in a compact footprint, this model is engineered with NGMax technology and provides 37 kVA of motor starting capability to help support larger appliance starts. It is built around a Briggs & Stratton Vanguard commercial-grade engine and includes corrosion-resistant aluminum enclosures and base for durability in outdoor installations.
Service readiness is built in, including Eco-Cise weekly test mode and InfoHub remote monitoring so you can check generator status and receive updates from a phone, tablet, or computer. Installation flexibility is a key advantage, with placement allowances as close as 18 inches to a building when installed per the manufacturer’s installation manual and applicable codes.
PowerProtect DX warranty coverage is advertised as comprehensive, including labor, parts, and service, for the full 10-year period (see manufacturer documents for full terms and conditions).
